Dream Board = Motivation!

Well, I finally got around to putting together my Dream Board...and boy am I glad that I did!

What is a Dream Board you ask?  It is where you put your dreams and goals on paper...and make it look pretty (to sum it all up in a sentence).  So without further adieu....Here is mine :)

It is hard to see, I know...but you get the idea.  But just so you know, I will go ahead and list the dreams and goals that I included!
  • I want to pay off my credit card debt
  • I want to finish remodeling my house
  • I want to be a Diamond Coach by Summit 2012 in VEGASSS
  • I want to get and iPad 2
  • I want to FINALLY get my iPhone
  • I want to get ANOTHER Boxer puppy so that Mr. Bo has a friend when I am not at home
  • I want to get my dream car...a Chevy Tahoe
  • I want to attain my goal body...one like Carrie Underwood's
On my board I also included a bunch of words and phrases to help motivate me even more...A few of those phrases being "Kick Butt", "It's time to start turning heads", "Sound Mind Sound Body", and "Don't stop kickin' til the clock stops tickin'".

Why did I make this Dream Board?  And why do I think it is important?  I made it so that I could visualize my goals.  Yeah, I see them in my head, but when you put something on paper you are far more likely to do it.  It helps hold you even more accountable for your actions.  I WILL attain everything on my Dream Board...then I will make a new one with even BIGGER dreams and goals.

On another note...I started another round of P90X...this time the Classic Schedule with a fellow Pittsburgh Coach, Erika!  Having an accountability partner while working through ANY workout program will help to keep you BOTH on track...today is Plyometrics...This will be my first time ever doing Plyo!  I will let you know tomorrow how it goes. :)

The Importance of a Success Partner

Happy Friday!  I don't about you, but I feel like this week has been dragging.  Maybe it has been the heat (close to 100 degrees every day), I just know that I am glad that the weekend starts at 5 pm today!

So today I am going to talk about something that I feel is VERY important to each of us.  It is a specific person in you life that will help you to succeed in your profession, home business, fitness, and lifestyle goals.  They will help you when you hit a roadblock or when you run out of ideas.  It is a person that will give you the extra enouragement and push that you need to reach a goal.  This is what we like to call a Success Partner. :)

So why is a Success Partner so important?  Well...I can't really explain why without telling you about my own success partner...

Her name is Nicole and let me tell you...she is awesome.  We started talking randomly one day in our Bombshell Dynasty group...and discovered are both at pretty much the same stage of our businesses.  That is when we both decided that we were meant to be Success Partners.  We both shared the same enthusiasm, drive, and determination...and we both want to succeed and make a huge impact.  She inspires me everyday, and I am SO glad that she came into my life!

Together, we have brainstormed and come up with some realistic goals that we BOTH would like to reach.  I am going to make us BOTH accountable and post those goals now for you all to see...
  • We both want at least 15 people signed up with us as their coaches...and let me just say that in the past couple of days we have both been on a roll!
  • We both WILL be EMERALD coaches by SEPTEMBER
  • We have vowed to have weekly talks about our progress...this has actually turned into us talking almost DAILY about our progress :)
  • We both were determined to make video blogs...and we did!  Check mine out here :)  (Nicole, post your link in my comment section when you read this and I will add it up here!)
  • We both decided to blog...A LOT...and we have been :)
  • We both wanted to join MORE social networking sites...and we did!  LinkedIN, StumbleUpon...
We made up this list of goals about a month ago...and I am SO proud to say that we have BOTH  accomplisted the ones that are RED.  So if you were doubting this whole Success Partner thing...you shouldn't!  Having a person to rely on and work with is the most imporant thing that you can possibly have.  Nicole has become one of my favorite people and one of my best friends...I cannot WAIT to take over VEGAS with her and the rest of the Bombshell Dynasty for Summit 2012!!!

So now I am going to ask you, do you have a Success Partner?  Do you have a person that you can count on to inspire you, push you, and help you reach all of your goals?  If you don't...evaluate, talk to people, and find one :)  It will be the best decision that you will ever make...

If you do have a success partner, share your story with me!  Why are they your success partner?  How did you know that you two were perfect together?  What have you been able to do that you would have never done without their support and encouragement?  Email me your story!  And this weekend I will be posting your stories on here...Bombshell Dynasty members...this means you!

30 Day Challenge????

Happy Friday!  And BOY am I happy that it is Friday...This has been a long week!

So I am officially 2 weeks into my own made up P90X/Insanity Hybrid and let me tell you...WOW!  I absolutely LOVE it!  I push myself a lot, and granted Insanity is pretty damn tough, but I am able to do more and more every time!  I will share my Fit Test results once I do the second one...The first results are pretty pathetic..haha

I love the fact that I am seeing results already...2 weeks in!  My tummy has flattened and I am FINALLY getting rid of those love handles that us ladies hate oh so much.  Plus, my little bitty biceps are growing at a rapid pace...My Dad actually asked me to flex last night and he was impressed!

So anywho, the purpose of this post is to discuss Chalene Johnson's 30 Day Challenge.  If you have not done it yet, DO IT!  It has changed my life and I am only on day 10!  I don't want to give too much away because I want YOU do to it, don't just piggyback on me :)  She teaches that it takes 21 days to form a habit, whether it be good or bad.  And make a To Do list daily!  Put it somewhere accessible (pull out those iPhones, Droids, Blackberries, or whatever you have, there are free apps for this!) and check it ALL THE TIME.  Make one for the day, then the week, then the month, then the YEAR.  Without a To Do list you are far less likely to reach your goals...and we all want to reach our goals right?

So every Friday in this challenge we are to list our 10 goals, and our 1 Push Goal.  For shiggles, I decided to post my 10 goals from today here for you all to see (what I want to accomplish in the next year)...HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE PEOPLE!!!  I can't do it without you!

My Push Goal:  Pay off my debt!
1.  Pay off all of my credit cards.
2.  Become an EMERALD coach (Nicole Morse, we can do this!)
3.  Make more time for ME
4.  Create a budget...and stick to it!  (No more living paycheck to paycheck!)
5.  Go on a weekend getaway every other month.
6.  Pass the GMAT!
7.  Get into grad school at RMU (can you say propelling my business???)
8.  Spend more time with my "family" (I put family in " " because I consider family to be blood and those that I CONSIDER family...aka my friends)
9.  Get to my new target weight of 120!
10. Become more active in the National Kidney Foundation in the honor and memory of my Aunt Karen.

Ok Guys!  Your turn!  Email me YOUR 10 goals...Tell me what YOU want to achieve over the next week...month...year...5 years...10 years...Then sit back and think about how you can reach them...How I can help you reach them!

xoxo

Happy Thursday!

Another week is almost gone...I cannot BELIEVE that it is almost MAY already!  Where has the beginning of 2011 gone??!?!?!?!

I don't know about all of you, but it has been a very life changing year for me so far.  A relationship that I thought was strong enough to last forever ended unexpectedly and suddenly, and I went into a deep depression.  Then, with the help of my awesome friends, I came out even stronger than ever (seriously, thank you all...I don't know what I would have done without you.).  I had some health issues that I pulled through...and now I am transforming my mind and body into the person that I want to be.  All in 5 months!  Can you even IMAGINE what will happen by the end of the year?!?!

So now I am going to pose a few questions to you...What are YOUR goals for the year?  For the next 5 years?  Even as far as the next 10 years?  What do YOU want to get from your life?  What impact do YOU want to have on the world?  And what SMALL steps can you take each day to reach your goals?

Write down your answers and look at them every day...This is what The Slight Edge has taught me.  Make small goals that are attainable and will help you to finally reach your ultimate goal.  And remember...no goal is too big to reach, you just have to have the will power and perserverance to push yourself to get there.

I will post some of my goals next week, along with the steps that I plan on taking every day to reach them.  For instance...I want to start growing my Beachbody Team...because I have met some of the most amazing people because of it!  I want to share it with the world.  A small step that I am taking to reach it?  I am going to Chicago this weekend and I plan on handing out 10 business cards while I am there...Whether it is to friends or complete strangers...I will reach out to 10 people...I will be gone from Friday until Monday...That averages to 2.5 people per day, not that difficult!  What are you going to do this weekend to better yourself or to help you reach your ultimate goal?

I will leave you with a quote that I love <3

"Remember, if you ever need a helping hand,
you'll find one at the end of your arm.  As you
grow older, you will discover that you have two
hands; one for helping yourself and the other
for helping others."

I know, I have been slacking

I hope that everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend :)  I know that I did!  It was full of family and lots of love (and a puppy play date that was EXHAUSTING).

I am currently readying The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson and let me just say, if you have not read it...you should!

It is really helping me to realize my goals in life and how I can take simple steps every single day to reach them!  Once I finish this book, I think that I will post my goals here...but I am going to make you wait until I am done with the book...So Stay Tuned!!!
